Free Workout Log and Weight Loss Chart
In the spirit of helping all those who resolve to lose weight and get in shape in the coming year, I thought that I would share some of my very own helpful tracking charts that I created and have used quite successfully.

I created this workout log when I was working out at the nearby gym. It covers off both cardio and weight training and was a simple way for me to track my progress. I jot down time and difficulty of cardio workouts and for weights I track number of reps and the weight used. It’s set up for the various exercises that I do and in the manner in which I group them, but it can be easily modified:
- Day 1 – Back and Biceps
- Day 2 – Legs (includes hips and calves) and Shoulders
- Day 3 – Chest and Triceps
- Cardio can be worked in on the days above or done on additional days in the gym.
This is a great weekly weight loss chart and tracker. Simply enter in the date and your weight, and the chart automatically calculates the following:
- Weekly weight lost
- Pounds lost to date
- Percent of body weight lost
There are two separate tracking areas if you want to have a fun little contest with a friend or your spouse. I’ve always been more successful when I have a workout partner to keep me motivated.
