Periodically, BJ’s, a warehouse club in South Florida, will print coupons for 60 day free memberships. I use their free membership as often as I can for major, but infrequent, purchases. For example, I purchased my glasses there for $336; the glasses (with Oscar de la Renta frames) would have cost me over $600 elsewhere.

I use a particular credit card that pays me 1-4% every time I use it. I typically get $1,200 per year back from the card company. Of course, I pay the card off every month.

I agree. My Brittany spaniel keeps me walking all the time. He looks great, muscular. I still have a long way to go. But we do enjoy walking together. I really dont think I would walk as much without my canine partner and then Id be very out of shape. So instead of the gym, pick up a dog at the local shelter and start walking. Not to mention you have a best friend for life.

Great tips on saving money through simple changes. Love the idea of jogging in the park! Not only do you get you get your exercise in but you also get to connect with nature. My favorite money saving activity is hosting a pot-luck dinner with friends and family. That way the cost is spread out amongst everyone and no one feels as though the dinner is pinching pennies.
